Who we are

TuartHyre runs tuarthyre.com from Collie, Western Australia. TuartHyre advertises part-time roles that people anywhere in Australia can do from home and introduces applicants to the employers offering them. TuartHyre is not the employer. Contact TuartHyre at careers@tuarthyre.com. TuartHyre handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information you give TuartHyre

When you apply, TuartHyre receives the details you enter: your name, mobile number, email address, the role you are interested in and any optional note. When you message TuartHyre HR on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number and the text of your message. Emails to TuartHyre give us your address and whatever the email says.

Does TuartHyre collect anything automatically?

Yes, tuarthyre.com receives standard technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the previous page and the time. The TuartHyre hosting provider keeps these to operate and protect tuarthyre.com, and TuartHyre does not link them to applications.

Required and optional fields

Required fields are needed so TuartHyre can reach you and forward your application. Leaving an optional field blank has no effect on how TuartHyre treats your application.

Information TuartHyre does not want

Please never send TuartHyre passwords, one-time codes from text messages, bank or card numbers, your tax file number or photos of ID. TuartHyre never needs or asks for these, and deletes any that arrive.

Why does TuartHyre use my information?

TuartHyre uses your details to respond to you, share role information, forward your application to the relevant employer, answer your questions, keep a record of what was discussed, deal with complaints or misuse and meet legal obligations.

No selling, no marketing lists

TuartHyre does not sell, rent or trade personal information and does not use applications for marketing. Should another role seem a better fit, TuartHyre will ask your permission before your details go anywhere for it.

Who receives your details

Only the people at TuartHyre who handle applications, plus the employer behind your chosen role. TuartHyre names the employer and explains what will be shared before any introduction is made.

Service providers

tuarthyre.com is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also forwards emails addressed to TuartHyre. TuartHyre loads its lettering from Google Fonts, which means your device contacts Google for those files. Messages with TuartHyre HR travel through WhatsApp, a Meta service. Those companies act under their own privacy rules, not only under TuartHyre's. TuartHyre will list any new provider here, for example a form builder or ad tag, before switching it on.

Disclosures required by law

TuartHyre discloses information to authorities only when legally required, or when legally permitted and reasonably needed to look into misuse or protect the rights of a person.

Applications and WhatsApp

Applying to TuartHyre has two steps: the form, then a WhatsApp message to HR. Our button only opens WhatsApp with suggested text to the TuartHyre HR number shown in the chat header. Nothing goes to TuartHyre until you press Send yourself. No WhatsApp? Write to careers@tuarthyre.com and TuartHyre will arrange another option.

Cookies

TuartHyre does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. The TuartHyre hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and tuarthyre.com will still work.

Advertising and measurement

TuartHyre does not do this at present. As of the date above, tuarthyre.com has no advertising tags, remarketing or analytics installed. If that changes, TuartHyre will first update this section with the provider's name, what it receives and your choices. Names, phone numbers and emails are never put into TuartHyre tracking events or links.

Overseas handling

It can, through TuartHyre's providers. Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, which TuartHyre uses, handle data in a number of countries including the United States. TuartHyre follows the Australian Privacy Principles for overseas disclosures; email careers@tuarthyre.com for details.

How long does TuartHyre keep it?

Up to twelve months after our last real conversation about a role, after which TuartHyre deletes it. TuartHyre deletes sooner if you ask, and keeps it longer only when the law or an unresolved dispute requires. TuartHyre's hosting logs are normally gone within 30 days.

How does TuartHyre keep it safe?

Traffic to tuarthyre.com is encrypted with HTTPS and application details are limited to the TuartHyre staff who process them. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, TuartHyre will tell you as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

If TuartHyre deletes my details, are they gone everywhere?

Employers you were introduced to, and WhatsApp itself, may hold their own records outside TuartHyre's control. TuartHyre can point you to the right place to ask them.

Access, correction and deletion

Yes, TuartHyre does. Email careers@tuarthyre.com to access, correct or delete your details, withdraw your application or raise a concern. TuartHyre may check your identity, aims to reply within 30 days and will explain if something cannot be done. Withdrawing cannot reverse an introduction TuartHyre has already made.

Keeping details current

Let TuartHyre know and your record will be updated.

Does TuartHyre use software to decide about me?

TuartHyre does not use automated decision-making. Real people at TuartHyre read every application, while the employer makes the hiring decision.

Minors

tuarthyre.com is for adults looking for work. If TuartHyre finds a child's information, it is deleted.

How do I complain to TuartHyre?

Write to careers@tuarthyre.com explaining your concern. TuartHyre will look into it and respond in writing, and if you remain dissatisfied, a person at TuartHyre with no earlier involvement will review the matter afresh.

Why does TuartHyre ask which role I want?

TuartHyre asks for your preferred role so the right details and training reach you and the application goes to the matching employer. Not sure yet? Mention it when you message TuartHyre HR and they will talk you through each role first. Until an introduction has happened, you can switch roles by sending a WhatsApp message or writing to careers@tuarthyre.com.

What happens to my WhatsApp conversation with TuartHyre?

The chat with TuartHyre HR is stored so the team has context when you follow up. Only staff dealing with applications can read it, and TuartHyre will delete its copy on request. Your phone keeps its own copy of the chat with TuartHyre, and WhatsApp handles its records under its own policy. TuartHyre does not pass WhatsApp conversations to advertisers or data brokers.

Withdrawing consent

Yes, TuartHyre does. You can stop your application with TuartHyre whenever you like by messaging HR or emailing careers@tuarthyre.com. TuartHyre will stop contacting you about roles, will not introduce you to any further employers and will delete your details in line with the retention section, unless the law requires TuartHyre to keep a record for longer.

Accuracy

TuartHyre relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, TuartHyre will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@tuarthyre.com.

Changes to this policy

TuartHyre may revise this policy and will show the new date above. Where required by law, TuartHyre will notify you before a change affects information it already has.
